  • Yes. The Free plan is free forever. No credit card, no trial countdown. You get the full workout logger, 500+ exercises, custom plans, and 10 starter Muscle Coins for AI. The Free experience shows ads while you train. Upgrade to Pro to remove them.
  • Pro is CHF 1.95 a month, billed monthly with no commitment. It removes ads while training, unlocks PDF export of your sessions, and gives you early access to new features as we ship them. Apple Watch and Wear OS will become Pro-only later this year (they are free for everyone right now).
  • Muscle Coins are how you pay for AI features (plan generation, nutrition meal plans, AI chat). You only spend coins when you actually use AI. There is no monthly AI subscription. Free users get 10 starter coins to try it out. Packs of 10, 30, or 50 coins (CHF 6.50, CHF 18.99, and CHF 31.99) are available whenever you want more.
  • No, and that is on purpose. AI is billed separately so you only pay for what you use. A Pro athlete who never touches AI never pays for AI. A coach who runs daily meal plans for 50 clients pays in proportion to that usage.
  • Coaching is free. You can manage any number of clients, build their plans, and track their progress without paying anything. A plan is optional: you buy client seats when you want those clients ad-free with Pro features. Each seat upgrades one client, and any paid plan turns on Pro for your own coach account too. Smaller rosters pay less per seat, so a coach just starting out can afford to give clients Pro. Invite clients by email, assign a seat, and remove a client to free the seat instantly. Liftory only shows ads while training, so clients without a seat see them during their workouts.
  • Coach Starter (10 clients) fits trainers just going digital. Coach Growth (25 clients) is the most-picked tier for building a roster. Coach Pro (50 clients) suits established 1:1 coaches. Studio (100), Studio Plus (250), and Enterprise (custom) cover small studios, multi-coach practices, and franchises.
  • An active client is one with a Liftory seat assigned to them inside your dashboard. Clients on the marketplace who have not accepted an invitation, and former clients you have removed, do not count. Seats free up the moment you remove a client, so you can rotate inside your tier without paying for a higher one.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately and we prorate the difference for the rest of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period, and you keep the higher tier until then. Switching between Coach and Studio works the same way. You can move up or down as your roster changes.
  • Stripe retries failed charges automatically. If a charge does not recover, sponsored clients revert to Free with ads on their next session. As soon as your payment succeeds, Pro access restores automatically.
  • Yes. Pro subscriptions and coin packs are available via Apple in-app purchase on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. Professional seat licensing (Coach, Studio, Enterprise) is web only, billed through Stripe (App Store policy on B2B billing).
  • We are based in Switzerland. All prices are in CHF and include Swiss VAT where applicable. Stripe handles EU VAT automatically for cross-border customers. B2B customers with a valid VAT ID get reverse-charge treatment.
